A fire that broke out in an office of the Delhi Transport Department near the Civil Lines metro station on Monday, 20 January, has been doused and the cooling process is underway, ANI reported.

The call about the fire was received at 8:38 am, following which eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot, PTI reported.

Sunil Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Fire Officer, Delhi said that all the documents related to Delhi Transport Department have been gutted in the fire.

An investigation has been initiated into the fire, ANI reported.
