In a nationwide sweep before Republic Day 2016, the National Investigation Agency arrested fourteen men for their alleged links to the ISIS. These ‘sympathisers’ were arrested to prevent a terror strike.
Four of the fourteen families broke their silence. Speaking exclusively to The Quint, family members reveal that the accused did have access to mobile phones and laptops. However, they deny any knowledge of online communication between the accused and ISIS. While some are dumbfounded at the allegations, others allege discrimination.
