Heavy Rains Wreak Havoc In Delhi-NCR
After heavy showers, waterlogged streets, traffic jams and power cuts bring Delhi-NCR to a standstill.

Heavy rains in the National Capital Region on 26 July brought life to a standstill, with waterlogged roads causing severe congestion and traffic logjams. Power cuts were also reported from several areas.
An elevated road in Ghaziabad, opened by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on 30 March 2018, was completely waterlogged. The 10.5-kilometre stretch connects commuters from Raj Nagar in Delhi going towards Meerut and was designed to be a high-speed stretch to reduce travel times between the national capital and Ghaziabad in UP.

Water also found its way into housing areas and basement parking lots.
