With Delhi and its cops raking up a bad image for being unsafe for women and children, a post by Delhi resident Malvinder Rikhy restores faith in the humanity of the city... at least partially.

Delhi constable Dharmendra and an autorickshaw driver found a lost child and roamed all over the Kalkaji DDA flats to find the child’s parents.

The post was put on Facebook on Friday and has been shared and liked hundreds of times since.

The deed didn’t go unnoticed by the Delhi Police department or the parents of the child, who lauded the samaritans. Rikhy himself in his post said, “Who says humanity is dead and police are insensitive?”

In times where most people fear for their safety, even from the police, this act comes as a reminder that there will always be those kind souls to help you in times of need.
