Mikhail’s Documents, Photographs, Emails and The Quint’s Exclusive
Indrani’s son Mikhail Bora reveals to Times Now that he had documents, e-mails and photographs of Sheena and Peter. However, he did not reveal the nature of these photos, or e-mails. He said that these have been submitted to the police as “evidence”.
The Quint had earlier published an article which said how close friends of Peter Mukerjea suggested that Sheena and Peter might have been involved in relationship, and they also took a trip to Thailand. The same sources also indicated that Peter got involved with Sheena, because he was under the impression that Sheena was Indrani’s sister. The same story also cited certain sources suggesting that Sheena may have been pregnant with the child of a person very close to her, when she was murdered.
I Escaped From Mumbai: Mikhail

Peter Knew Sheena’s Truth: Mikhail
Mikhail Bora tells Times Now that he is convinced that Peter knew Sheena was Indrani’s daughter. He says Peter and Indrani were married for eleven years. So it is not believable that Peter did not know about Sheena being the biological daughter of Inrani.

Mikhail Bora tells Times Now that he was shocked to hear about the murder plot against him and that Sheena was killed by his mother, Indrani Mukerjea.

Has the Investigation Slowed Down After Maria’s Transfer?
Hindustan Times says in a report that at the time of Maria’s transfer, the probe was yet to answer several questions about the murder, motive and money trail, but with the state saying other cases should also receive equal attention, no developments were reported on Wednesday or Thursday.
Peter was questioned thrice, and on all three occasions, the interrogation lasted more than 10 hours. The aim was to find if a financial angle was the motive behind the murder.
Sanjeev, Peter & Indrani Seen Together in January This Year
Accounts of locals in Bawali, a village nearly 58km from Kolkata, indicate that Indrani Mukerjea’s husband Peter and ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna, may have known each other for quite some time. Villagers remember Indrani visiting the Bawali Rajbari this year and someone resembling Peter with her. The dilapidated ‘rajbari’, tucked away in a corner of South 24 Parganas, got a makeover as a heritage hotel after it was bought by businessman Ajay Rawla, but the difference was visible only since the end of 2012, when Khanna joined the business. What We Know So Far
- According to a Times of India report this morning the Khar police have now found threatening emails sent by Indrani Mukerjea to Sheena just a month before she was killed. Three messages were recovered from Sheena’s gmail inbox while checking Indrani’s laptop.
- One of the emails Indrani sent on March 8, 2012, was addressed to Sheena and forwarded to her brother Mikhail, in which their mother threatened to disinherit them if they “acted smart”. Indrani also threatened to stop their monthly payouts of Rs 40,000 each.
- Indrani sent Sheena two other emails, dated May 4 and July 7, 2012. Sheena was strangulated by Indrani, Sanjeev Khanna and Shyamvar Rai on April 24, 2012, and her body was burnt in Raigad district the next day. Official believe that Indrani sent the last two mails, after Sheena’s murder to throw off investigators.
- Sources said Mikhail did not reply to the email as he feared he was jobless and had to take care of his grandparents in Guwahati. However, Sheena threatened Indrani to expose her in front of Peter.
- Around the same time, Indrani also learnt about Sheena’s relationship with Rahul, Peter’s son from his first marriage, which she did not approve of. On several occasions, Indrani had told Sheena to break up with Rahul but Sheena did not listen, instead, she threatened to expose Indrani’s lies to Peter.
- Investigations reveal that Sheena had left her rented flat in Khar, following heated arguments with Indrani, who wanted her to move back to Guwahati. But Sheena later returned to Mumbai and took up a house in Andheri.
- Meanwhile, the police said that the motive behind Sheena’s murder will be clear only after the forensic auditing team gives reports of Peter’s books and accounts, wherein there are lots of transactions from Peter’s accounts to Indrani and from her accounts to that of her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna. Khanna had diverted the money to hotels and other businesses.
- According to reports, Indrani thought if Sheena married Rahul, she would end up taking over the Mukerjea household. Also, Khanna had allegedly been pressuring her to ensuring that their child Vidhie got a major share of Peter’s wealth.
