The father of a class 11 boarding school student of Mayo College in Ajmer has alleged that his son was sodomised multiple times by six class 12 boarders in the month of July, reported Hindustan Times (HT).
The student’s father in his FIR has said that the boy was abused on various occassions between 10 July and 20 July until the boy left and complained about the abuse to his parents.
A case was registered at the Alwar Gate police station on Tuesday, 31 July.
Speaking to HT, Priti Chaudhary, Deputy Superintendent of Police said:
Acknowledging the matter, the school Principal Surendra Kulkarni too said that an investigation in the matter was underway, and that a comment could only be made after the investigation is complete.
According to the report in HT, the boy’s father in his statement has said:
The father has also alleged that his son was forced to take drugs every time he was sexually abused and that he was warned against reporting the incident.
The father in his complaint has mentioned that his son is under great distress and this was his first year in the boarding school.
According to HT, the school management is a co-complainant in the FIR filed by the boy’s father.
