Baramulla Youth Shot By Suspected Militants Succumbs to Injuries

A civilian who was shot at by suspected militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday, 30 June, succumbed to his injuries on Monday morning.

Sameer Ahmad, 25, was fired at in Old Town area of the north Kashmir district and suffered serious bullet wounds in his leg and abdomen, Greater Kashmir reported.

A resident of Chesti Colony, Ahmad was rushed to SMHS hospital in Srinagar.

The security forces have launched a hunt to nab the attackers, PTI reported.
