2 DRG Personnel Injured in IED Blast in Sukma, Chhattisgarh

2 District Reserve Guard (DRG) personnel were injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast near Gogunda in the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, reports ANI.

Shalabh Sinha, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), said that both jawans are conscious and that the police is trying to airlift them to Raipur for further treatment.

The District Reserve Guard is a local military force, raised by the the police, specifically to assist the CRPF in their combat against Naxal insurgency.
