Central Government Employees to Get 2 Years’ Pending Bonus: FM

The minimum wage will be increased to Rs 350 per day for non-agricultural workers as opposed to Rs 246 now.

On Tuesday, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley addressed the media in Delhi to talk about the Centre’s decision about the contract workers law.

He said that the Centre has decided to write to all states regarding compliance of the law.

Central Government employees will be getting two years’ bonus which was pending.

He also said that the government had accepted the advisory board’s recommendations and the minimum wage will be increased to Rs 350 per day for non-agricultural workers as opposed to Rs 246 now.

The bonus to central government employees will be given at the revised rates.
