CBI Summons Lalu, Tejashwi Yadav in Railway Irregularities Case

The summons come after Income Tax raids that were carried out at the homes of Lalu and his family.

On Thursday, the CBI summoned RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son Tejashwi Yadav in connection with the alleged railway irregularities case.

The CBI has filed an FIR against Lalu and his family and the Income Tax department had raided their homes in July.

The CBI wants Lalu to join on 11 September and Tejashwi a day later on 12 September.
