CBI Registers Six FIRs in the Vyapam Scam

✕ The Central Bureau of Investigation registered six FIRs on Wednesday related to alleged irregularities in the Vyapam scam.
CBI spokesperson explained the six cases that have so far been registered.
- The first case has been registered against two persons on the allegations of cheating by personation in the Constable Recruitment Examination, 2013.
- The second case is against nine persons on the allegations of cheating by personation in the Examination of 2012.
- The spokesperson said the third case is against four accused persons on the same allegations in the Forest Guard Recruitment Examination, 2013.
- The fourth case is against 16 accused persons in the Pre-Medical Test, 2009.
- The fifth case is against three accused persons in the Constable Recruitment Examination, 2012.
- The sixth case is in the Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2013.
The case was handed over to CBI by the Supreme Court and the agency has so far registered over 110 FIRs in connection with the alleged irregularities.
