Post Burhan Wani’s funeral, Kashmir has been tense. The violence in Kashmir has claimed 44 lives and left many injured. TV channels, mobile and internet connection has been suspended and colleges and universities are shut.

At an event called ‘State Repression in Kashmir – Break the Silence’, many gathered to criticise the government’s response to the ongoing crisis and also condemned the army’s use of bullets and pellet guns to control the protestors. The Quint spoke to some of them.
