11 Dead, 6 Rescued From Under Collapsed Building in Hyderabad

At least 10 feared trapped after under-construction multi-storey building collapsed in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad.

  • Ten people died and two, including a child, were rescued from the collapsed seven-storey building in Hyderabad, which was under construction.
  • About 10 families, mostly labourers, were living in the premises of the Nanakramguda building, according to Hyderabad Mayor B Rammohan.
  • Telangana Home Minister N Narsimha Reddy and several other leaders and officials rushed to the spot, where rescue work is underway.
  • Reddy said violation of rules has been noticed in the construction of the building.
