Baba Ramdev to Have Wax Statue at London’s Madame Tussauds Museum
Ramdev announced on Twitter that his statue would be the first such statue of a Yogi to be installed at Tussauds.

Yog guru Baba Ramdev will soon join the league of celebrated personalities from across the world who have their wax statue at the famous Madame Tussauds Museum in the UK capital, London.
The 52-year-old yoga guru on Monday, 25 June, announced on Twitter that his statue would be the first such statue of a Yogi to be installed at Tussauds. "This will further add to the glory of the science of Yoga and will motivate people across the globe to adopt a Yogic lifestyle," he said.
In a press conference that Ramdev held on Monday, he said that he had accepted the proposal from Madame Tussauds to place his statue at the prestigious museum.
"It will arouse curiosity about character and knowledge of Yoga and Yogi among millions of international tourists," Ramdev's spokesperson Tijarawala SK said.
The spokesperson also shared on Twitter the photographs in which a team of experts took impressions, measurements and other details for Ramdev's statue.
Madame Tussauds London already has wax statues of a number of celebrities from India including that of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, unveiled in 2016.
