An FIR Lodged in Connection With Shahabuddin’s ‘Viral’ Selfie

Shahabuddin created the controversy with his selfie from inside Siwan prison which soon went viral on social media.

An FIR was registered regarding the viral selfie of the incarcerated RJD leader Mohammad Shahabuddin from inside the Siwan jail.

Shahabuddin created the controversy with his purported selfie from inside the prison. The picture soon went viral on social media.

In the wake of the controversy, the Siwan district administration conducted raids inside the jail.

Officer in-charge of Muffasil police station Vinay Pratap Singh on 7 January confirmed the raids inside the prison and said three mobile phones, four sim cards and two mobile batteries were seized.

Notorious and known for muscle-flexing, Shahabuddin is facing over 36 cases, including those of murder and kidnapping.
