A rally taken out by North Dinajpur Adivashi Samannoy Committee to protest against the alleged rape of at least two tribal girls turned violent on Friday. Members in the rally set fire to buildings and damaged vehicles in Raiganj, West Bengal, as per a report by ANI.

The police said that a number of tribal groups called the rally to protest against the rape of the Adivasi girls on 9 July.
