Two Men Killed in an Accident on Delhi’s Signature Bridge

Two men were killed in a bike accident on Delhi’s newly functioning Signature Bridge, said police officials on Friday, 23 November.

The accident happened after the speeding bike rammed into a divider and fell 30 feet off the bridge around 8:45 am, NDTV reported.

According to the report, the police suspect that the two men were trying to take a selfie while riding the bike. One biker’s foot reportedly got caught in a stray wire dangling from a streetlight, causing the speeding bike to lose balance.

The two men are yet to be identified.

The bridge, which was in the making for 14 years, opened to the public on 4 November.
