A Twitter user has called out the Aam Aadmi Party for mistakenly posting pictures of a bridge in the Netherlands, instead of the Signature Bridge in Delhi, that is to be inaugurated on Sunday, 4 November.

The alleged error was called out by Twitter user Jas Oberoi (@iJasOberoi) who pointed out on Saturday, 3 November, that the pictures were actually those of the Erasmus bridge in Rotterdam.

On Twitter, Oberoi posted three separate images to prove that they had been misused.

There has been no response from the AAP so far, and the tweet has not been taken down at the time of writing this article.

This is not the first time a wrong photo has been used by political leaders. Last year, Union Minister Piyush Goyal had mistakenly tweeted an image from Russia to show the government’s achievement of “illuminating” 50,000km Indian roads, the Hindustan Times reported.

The Signature bridge is expected to cut down travel time between north and northeast Delhi, and is said to be India’s first asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge.
