On 22 September, a 6-year-old was allegedly raped by one of her neighbours in Hafizpur area of Hapur in western UP after. While the victim bled in pain the accused went absconding.

As per the complaint filed with the police, the incident took place in a nearby field where the accused took the girl when she was playing outside her house. The girl was later rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment.

A 6-year-old girl was brought here. She was very afraid. Medical examination has been done and report is awaited. It seems she was raped.

A case has been registered with the police and raids are been conducted across the area to nab the accused.

Police immediately went to the spot after the incident. The child is under treatment and on the basis of the complaint by the family members, an FIR has been registered against the accused. The police team is conducting raids to arrest him.
