3 Militants Killed in an Encounter With Forces in Pulwama

At least three militants who have been identified as Jangeer Rafiq Wani, Raja Umar Maqbool Bhat & Uzair Amin Bha were killed in an encounter with security forces in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, police officials said on Wednesday, 19 February.

Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Tral area of Pulwama district late Tuesday night following information about presence of militants there, a police official was quoted by PTI as saying.

He said during searches, an encounter broke out between militants and security forces, the official added that more details are awaited.

As per ANI reports all 3 terrorists belong to the terror outfit 'Ansar Ghazwa ul Hind'.
