An 11-year-old boy was found dead in his neighbour's home in central Delhi's Rajinder Nagar on Friday, 10 May. The body was found under mysterious circumstances, reported Indian Express.

The cause of death is unclear, but the family has been alleging murder. According to Indian Express, the police think that he could have committed suicide or the death could have been an accident.

The DCP (central) Mandeep Singh Randhawa said, as reported by Indian Express, "Prima facie, it seems the boy committed suicide. The post-mortem will shed more light."

An inquiry has been filed by the police in this matter. Meanwhile, the child's family and neighbours have been questioned.

It is reported that the boy had not returned home on Friday from school which raised suspicions. His parents began searching for him. A neighbour called his mother to inform her that her son was sick.

On reaching the neighbour's house, a large crowd had gathered along with the police.
