Agastya Jaiswal, an 11-year-old boy from Hyderabad, has cleared the Class 12 SSC examination with 63 percent marks. Agastya, a student of St Mary's Junior College in Yousufguda, appeared for the exam in March this year.

In 2015, he cleared the Class 10 SSC examination at the age of nine.

He appeared for the Class 10 examination, with an official from the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) asserting that no special permission is required to take the exam.

"It was very easy for me. I learned in a very playful atmosphere with my mom and my dad. My dad made notes for me in Civics, Economics and Commerce and I just followed them. It wasn't very difficult at all," Agastya told the Times of India.

I want to do my graduation in commerce in the next three years but my ultimate goal is to be a doctor.

However, Agastya is not the only 'child prodigy' in the family. The 11-year-old is the younger brother of Naina Jaiswal, a professional table-tennis player, who reportedly became the youngest post-graduate in Asia by completing her post graduation from Osmania University at the age of 15.

Naina took to Facebook to congratulate her brother.

The Telangana State BIE announced results for the first and second year intermediate exams on Sunday. While the exam for the first year was held from 1 March to 17 March, the second year's exams were held between 2 March and 19 March.
