One person was critically injured after a crude bomb exploded at Dum Dum’s cantonment railway line in Kolkata on Sunday, 8 April. As reported by ANI, the West Bengal police reportedly recovered ten crude bombs from the spot of the explosion.

A team comprising the Beliaghata police and Kolkata police bomb disposal squad was formed to recover the dead shell. Financial Express reports that the dead shell was recovered from an under-construction tunnel of the East-West Metro project, located near the Kadapara area.
