An Army jawan has been killed while another was injured after the Indian Army foiled an infiltration bid in Jammu and Kashmir's Tangdhar sector on Thursday.
An Army official said the operation was in progress and further details were awaited.
One BSF officer, who was injured in heavy firing by Pakistani troops, succumbed to his injuries on Thursday. Six civilians were also injured in the firing.
2 JeM Terrorists Arrested in Baramulla
Two Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorists were arrested in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir, nabbed in a joint search operation by 46 Rashtriya Rifles and Special Op Group Baramulla on Thursday night.
Heavy arms and ammunition were seized from the terrorists taken in custody.
