  • Two windows of a bus carrying twelve journalists were shattered when it was attacked on a highway between two Rio Olympic venues on Tuesday, leaving two people with minor lacerations.

  • While witnesses said that the bus was hit by gunfire, organising committee spokesperson Mario Andrada said that it wasn’t confirmed whether stones were hurled at the bus or whether it was shot at.

  • The incident raises more concerns about the security at the Rio de Janeiro Games, specially after a stray bullet flew through the roof of a media tent at the Olympic Equestrian Center on Saturday.
