Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab, Sukhbir Singh Badal will meet President Pranab Mukherjee and request him to declare Congress as an anti-national party.

Badal, citing Congress members’ presence at a rally by people in Amritsar demanding Khalistan, a separate Sikh state.

The groups in the rally in Amritsar, Badal claimed, have links with the Pakistani intelligence agency, ISI.

On November 20, Friday, he had also claimed that the incidents of sacrilage of Sikh religious book in various parts of Punjab is the work of ISI, according to a report by India Today.

The Congress members from Punjab have slammed Badal for his claims. The groups which were joined by the Congress leaders – likes of Akali Dal and Panch Pardani – have have denied the claims.
