The National Herald, the defunct mouthpiece of Congress, will soon be re-launched along with two other newspapers, eight years after they ceased publication.
Asked whether the revival of the three newspapers will be announced this month, he said that the decision to relaunch the papers was taken at an Extraordinary General Meeting of AJL in Lucknow in January.
He failed to specify whether the National Herald (English), Navjivan (Hindi) and Qaumi Awaz (Urdu) would be brought out in print editions, as they were, or be restarted as an online-only platform.
In the Lucknow meeting, the Associated Journals Limited (AJL) decided to convert into a not-for-profit company and re-launch its newspapers.
