Prime Minister Narendra Modi has landed in Britain for his maiden UK visit.
Modi will hold bilateral talks with UK Prime Minister David Cameron at Chequers, meet industry leaders and address the Indian community at the Wembley Stadium.
Modi will also meet Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at the Buckingham Palace during his three-day visit.
The British Prime Minister tweeted a welcome note to Narendra Modi, hours before the two ministers meet.
The Prime Minister will address the Indian community at the iconic Wembley stadium in London on November 13.
Over 70,000 people are expected to turn out at the invitation-only event being organised by an NGO, Europe India Forum (EIF), at one of Europe’s largest football stadiums, the organisers have said.
Modi’s keynote speech will be followed by a display of fireworks as it coincides with the festival of Diwali.
