Man Held in Kuwait for Allegedly Funding Indian ISIS Sympathisers

A man was arrested in Kuwait on Saturday for allegedly funding terrorist groups and recruiting for ISIS.

Abdulla Hadi Abdul Rehman Al Enezi had reportedly sent USD 1,000 to four men in India including Areeb Majeed from Maharashtra who had joined the Islamic State in 2014.

Abdulla admitted to supporting terrorist organisations and involvement in financing terrorism, after his return from Pakistan in 2013.

Kuwaiti authorities have registered a case against him and arrested him on these charges.
