Malegaon Blasts: Bombay HC Asks Col Purohit to Submit Bail Plea

The High Court has further asked the sessions court to take a decision on this within six weeks.

  • In the latest development in the 2008 Malegaon blast case, the Bombay High Court has asked for Colonel Prasad Purohit’s bail application to be submitted in a trial court as a fresh application.

  • The High Court has further asked the sessions court to take a decision on this within six weeks.

  • Previously in April, Colonel Purohit had asked for some documents from the army to prove his innocence, permission for which was granted by the Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar.
