Two Army Jawans Killed by Militants Along the LoC in Kupwara

The encounter comes only two days after the deadly terror attack on Amarnath pilgrims in south Kashmir’s Anantnag.

• Two army personnel – Ranjit Singh and Satish Bhagat – were killed along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of Kupwara district in Kashmir on 12 July.
• Elsewhere in Kashmir, three Hizbul Mujahideen militants were killed on Wednesday in an encounter with security forces in central Kashmir's Budgam district.

• The encounters come two days after the deadly terror attack in south Kashmir’s Anantnag where seven Amarnath pilgrims were killed, and 19 were injured in a militant attack.
