  • Journalist Pushp Sharma was arrested on Saturday by the Delhi police for fabricating the AYUSH Ministry’s response to his Right to Information (RTI) application on their recruitment policy, reports the Milli Gazette. He will be produced in a Saket court shortly.

  • Sharma had claimed that the ministry was not hiring Muslims. His report was first published in the Milli Gazette issue for 16 to 31 March.

  • Sharma was questioned for days at the Kotla Mubarakpur police station; the editor-in-chief of the news magazine was also questioned on 11 April.
