  • On Tuesday, Kerala’s LDF government issued an order which provided a job to the elder sister of the 30-year-old Dalit law student who was raped and murdered at her home in Ernakulam district on 28 April.

  • An official release said she was appointed as an office assistant at Kunnathunad taluk office in Ernakulam.

  • In its first cabinet meeting, the LDF ministry that assumed office on 25 May took a decision to take urgent steps to give the victim’s sister a job.
