A fire broke out because of a short circuit in an air-conditioning unit on the 11th floor of Kailash building in New Delhi’s Connaught Place, ANI reported.

Twelve fire tenders were rushed to the building, which houses a number of businesses.

The fire was successfully doused and the situation brought under control with no casualties.
