The ethics committee of Delhi Assembly on Friday recommended expulsion of BJP MLA Om Prakash Sharma from the assembly.

Sharma was caught on camera beating a CPI activist at the Patiala House court three days back, and was arrested on Thursday and granted bail immediately.

He was earlier suspended for entire Winter Session of the Delhi Assembly last year after he made sexist and derogatory remarks against Aam Aadmi Party leader Alka Lamba. Sharma had called Lamba a woman with loose morals.
