Dead Bryde’s Whale Spotted on Juhu Beach in Mumbai

A 35-40 feet long dead whale was spotted on Juhu beach on Thursday night and was noticed by joggers at around 9 pm.

A 35-40 feet long dead whale was spotted on Juhu beach on Thursday night, the DNA reported. The dead mammal has been identified as a Bryde’s Whale, and was noticed by joggers at around 9 pm.

<p>From initial examination, the whale seems to have died a day or two ago. It bloated and was then carried in by the tide to the beach.</p>

Earlier this month, 80 whales were beached in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu and approximately 45 of them died.
