Oommen Chandy Named in Solar Scam FIR; Protest Intensifies

The Democratic Youth Federation of India members are staging a protest against the solar scam in Kerala on Thursday.

In an ongoing protest against the solar scam, members of the Democratic Youth Federation of India were tear-gassed by the police in Kerala.

Meanwhile, the Thrissur Vigilance Court has directed to file an FIR against Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in relation to the scam.

Co-accused Saritha Nair had earlier in her statement tried to implicate Chandy and many other politicians for accepting a bribe.
