Clashes Over Body of Terrorist Killed in Anantnag

Severe clashes have erupted between the youth and the police over killing of the local terrorist in Anantnag.

An unidentified militant was killed in a gun-battle with security forces in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district. The encounter began at 4 am in Kokernag district where a militant was killed. Security forces killed a terrorist after a gun-battle CNN-IBN reported on Tuesday. However, his identity is yet to be ascertained, the police said.

Locals claim the terrorist is native to the area. Severe clashes have erupted between the youth and the police over the killing, after the locals demanded possession of the terrorist’s body.
