The Hindu was not published this morning due to the heavy rainfall that has broken a record of 100 years.

Synonymous to the lifestyle in Chennai, The Hindu, did its best and tried to reach its readers virtually.

The e-paper of the publication was published on the site.

The printing press of The Hindu is situated outside the city, making the distribution difficult.

The incessant rainfall in Tamil Nadu has claimed 188 lives. Daily life in the city and the places around has come to a stand still.
