CBSE’s Class X and XII Boards to Begin From 9 March

The schedule has been tweaked keeping in mind assembly elections in five states.

  • The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule for this year's board examinations. The schedule has been tweaked keeping in mind assembly elections in five states.
  • Both class 10 and 12 examinations will begin on 9 March. Class 10 examinations will end on 10 April, whereas the last exam for class 12 is 29 April.
  • After six years, the board is all set to make class 10 examinations compulsory from 2018 onwards.
