Six people have been killed and 11 injured in a blast in Maharashtra’s Pulgaon on Tuesday morning, 20 November. The explosion occurred at the demolition range where an old ammunition was buried, near the Pulgaon army depot.

Among those killed, one was a trained staff of the Khamaria ammunition factory, and three were labourers.

The Demolition Ground at Central Ammunition Depot, Pulgaon, was reportedly given to the Khamaria ammunition Factory in Jabalpur for their demolition activities. The blast occurred when the officials were unloading the ammunition.

The officials of the ordnance factories of Khamaria, Jabalpur and Chandrapur have rushed to the spot.
