Air India’s longest all-women crew flight
from New Delhi to San Francisco took off on 6 March, to celebrate the International
Women’s day.
Besides, the national carrier on Friday said it would be
operating over 20 all-women crew flights in domestic routes on 8 March – the
International Women’s day.
Air India was the first carrier in the world to operate an all-women crew in 1985.
The state-run airline has around 3,800 women in workforce comprising 27,500 people.
Every year, Air India operates all-women flights to celebrate the International Women’s Day.
