ABVP Seeks Police Action in “Anti-National” Incident on JNU Campus

The memorandum submitted by ABVP demanded the arrest of all those involved who raised anti-national slogans in JNU.

  • An ABVP delegation on Wednesday submitted a memorandum to Delhi Police Commissioner Alok Kumar Verma, demanding action against those involved in shouting anti-national slogans on the JNU campus on 9 February.

  • The memorandum, signed by Saurabh Sharma, Jawaharlal Nehru University Students Union Joint Secretary and ABVP member, demanded the arrest of all those involved in the incident.

  • The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh-affiliated student body had earlier in the day protested in front of the Delhi Police headquarters.
