Airlines urged the Civil Aviation Ministry to help institute a mechanism for providing weather updates, “well in advance.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was returning from Karnataka, after addressing a public meeting in Devangere, also had to make a stop over in Jaipur on Sunday after inclement weather prevented his flight from landing in Delhi.
