Cows have developed a new superpower, according to Rajasthan’s Education Minister, Vasudev Devnani. They are the only animals that can inhale and exhale oxygen, he said at an event.

This is a fascinating development, considering the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation says cows are one of the largest sources of greenhouse gas emissions in the agricultural sector, producing 18 percent of total global emissions. Cows alone contribute more emissions than the transportation sector, the 2006 FAO report states.
