Nilanjan Deb from BB Institution bagged the first position by scoring 485 marks. He scored 95 marks in Physics, 95 marks in Chemistry, 99 marks in Mathematics and 90 marks in Biology in the HS +2 examination.
Akash Majumder from Belonia Government English Medium Higher Secondary School bagged the second position by scoring 472 marks, whereas Arnab Chowhan from Shishu Bihar Higher Secondary School stood third by scoring 471 marks.
By touching 88.95 %, the passing percentage for the science stream has been increased by 4 % this year. 3,787 students had appeared for the Higher Secondary (HS) examination in the science stream. The Tripura TBSE examination had started from 1 March, 2019.
