RRB Group D 2018 Exam Schedule, Other Details to be Released Today

The board will release details about the computer-based Group D exam on Friday, 5 October on its official website.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RBB) of the Indian Railways will release details about the exam city, date and shift of the computer-based Group D examination on Friday, 5 October on its official website. The examination is scheduled to be held after 16 October, reported The Indian Express.

The details about the examination were earlier supposed to be released on 30 September.

“The exam date, city, schedule of the RRB Group D examinations after October 16 will be released tomorrow (Friday) after 5 pm. All the candidates who will appear for the exams can check the details through all the regional websites", said Angaraj Mohan, Chief Personnel Officer of Northern Railway.

Meanwhile, the board has released admit cards for the Group D exam, according to The Indian Express.

Here’s how to download the admit card:

  • Go to the official website of RBB
  • On the homepage, click on the download link of Group D Admit Card
  • Enter the registration number, date of birth and other required details
  • On submitting, the admit cards will be displayed on the screen

All the candidates appearing for the exam need to carry their call letter along with their photo id proof and two recent passport size colour photographs. The candidates are also required to carry the hall ticket with them to the exam centre.

Paper Pattern for RRB Group D Recruitment Examination

The duration of the written examination will be 90 minutes for candidates of the general category and 120 minutes for eligible PWD candidates accompanied with a scribe.

Mathematics: 25

General Intelligence and Reasoning: 30

General Science: 25

General Awareness and Current Affairs: 20
