Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 results are finally out. Aspirants can log on to iimcat.ac.in to check the results.

The exam was conducted on 26 November 2017 and according to a report by The Economic Times 20 candidates have scored an overall 100 percentile this year.

Candidates were earlier expecting the result on 5 January. However, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow had subsequently set aside the rumors and speculations and said that the results were likely to be declared in the second week of January.

Now, that the scores are out, here is how you can access them:

  • Log on to https://iimcat.ac.in
  • On the homepage, click on the link that reads “Score Card for CAT 2017.”
  • Enter the details in the prescribed fields
  • Download and print your CAT score card for further reference.

Merely qualifying CAT, however, does not guarantee admission to the various prestigious IIMs as candidates who clear the percentile criterion set by each separate IIM have to go on to appear for a group discussion and personal interview.

The CAT scorecard is used by a number of management institutes besides the IIMs.

The Indian Institute of Management Bill, 2017, now approved by President Ram Nath Kovind, grants more autonomy as well as power to the IIMs to award degrees instead of diplomas to graduates.
