GSHEB 10th Result: 66.97% Passed, 366 Schools Scored 100% Result

The Gujarat board of secondary and higher secondary education or GSHEB declared the results of Class 10 for the academic year 2018-2019 on Tuesday, 21 May, at 8 am. The students can check their marks at the official website of GSHEB at http://gseb.org/.

The overall pass percentage recorded this year is 66.97%. In Gujarati medium 64.97% students cleared the examination, 72.66% students passed in the Hindi medium. 366 schools in the state have scored 100% result. However, 63 schools had 0 %. The toppers’ names are yet to come.

Girls have performed better than the boys this year as well. 72.64 % girls passed the Gujarat Board class 10 exam as against 62.83% boys who passed. 20% of the specially-abled students students cleared the examination this year. 6142 specially-abled students had taken the exam out of which 872 passed.

Surat region became the highest performing region result by scoring 79.63%. However, with 46.38% Chhota Udaipur became the least performing region.

Out of the 11,03,854 students appeared for the Class 10 SSC exams, 6,973 were found to be involved in unfair practices during the examination.
