DU Admissions 2019: Application Forms and Entrance Exams Delayed
The application forms will be released only after the entrance exam procedure is decided.
The release date of application forms for admissions in undergraduate courses has been delayed by Delhi University.
According to reports, the exam procedures as well as as the rules for the entrance exam being conducted by National Testing Agency are yet to be finalised. The university is likely to release the application forms on its official website http://du.ac.in/du/ by June.
Delhi University and NTA, which is likely to be the exam conducting body for DU, are working out the admission procedure along with other formalities. However, further delay in making the final decisions might postpone the entire procedure and getting NTA for the process might shift to the next academic year.
The admissions committee has approved the proposal for entrance examination for Delhi University, a proposal that the National Testing Agency has also agreed to. The rules for the exam need to be discussed in the upcoming meeting of the academic council (AC). It will be then implemented according to the university rules.
